People of God
Jeremiah 31:1: “At that time,” declares the LORD, “I’ll be the God of all the families of Israel, and they will be my people.”
As we enter into this time of prayer and consideration of the coming days; we have the gift of hindsight that leads us to a deeper understanding and faith in our Lord. The Word of the Lord has not come back void and even today we are called to be part of the family of Israel. The world at war has always had Israel as central on the side of the Lord and the enemies of Israel are the enemies of our Lord.
We are the people of God; not because of our parents or our earthly fathers; but that through the Spirit of the Lord we are His children in Christ. We are not orphans abandoned; we have a Father; we have a family and we are His. Let is rejoice that we are His people and no one can change that.
Be encouraged today to know what the Lord proclaims about you.
