Philippians 2:5: For let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus.

For us to act like Christians we have to think like Jesus Christ. This may seem to be impossible yet when we think about it; it becomes the only possibility. No matter what we do we cannot do without thinking that we are able to do what is needed. A doctor has to think like a doctor; a father has to think like a dad and a Christian must think like Jesus Christ.

In order to understand the mind of Christ Jesus we must read and study the gospel and how Jesus was in His ministry. The central part of His mind or thoughts was to do what was pleasing to God His Father; likewise we do what is pleasing to Jesus. In this way that which seemed to be unattainable becomes the way we live.

Be encouraged today that the mind in us become like the mind of Christ Jesus.
