He is alive

Act 2:32: It was this very Jesus whom God raised, and of that we are all witnesses.

The Book of Act was written by Luke and is a personal account of those who were there and with whom he interacted with. The words recorded are that which was accepted by all the witnesses to the events of the Gospel of Luke and the Book of Act. It is these writings that became the written witness of the gospel and the record of the early church.

What is important is the account and surety that Jesus was raised and to which all those that were present were witnesses too. It is this that was so accepted that this truth would never be denied no matter what torture or persecution was done to a Christian; even to martyrdom. In this way we too stand firm to this very day and say Jesus was raised from death by God.

Be encouraged today to stand firm in the truth that Jesus was raised from the dead and is alive!

David

Point to ponder: Jesus is alive.

Question to consider: Have you ever been questioned about the resurrection of Jesus?
