Rejoice

1 Peter 1:8-9: Though you have not seen him, you love him. And even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and rejoice with an indescribable and glorious joy, because you are receiving the goal of your faith, the salvation of your souls.

When Thomas met with Jesus and the other disciples; he cried out, ‘my Lord, my God’! Jesus how great it would be for those that have not seen Him to believe in Him. It is this context that Peter writes to you and me today confirming through our faith and our salvation.

The amazing truth is that even though most of us have never seen the Lord in the flesh; we know Him in the Spirit. There are those who have through prayer and vision that have heard His voice and spoken with Him. It is through what we believe in Him that gives us an indescribable joy that makes our hearts rejoice.

Be encouraged today to love the Lord and rejoice in your faith.

David
