Romans 8:22: For we know that all the creation groans together and travails together until now.

Today we look to the future and make decisions that will help us to live and provide as we need. A farmer plants the field and the harvest has a value before the first growth is seen; a buyer comes and offers to buy the crop; deal is agreed. The farmer is guaranteed a price and the buyer is guaranteed to pay; this is the trading of futures.

This is common practise and all things of value are traded this way; the future conditions; expectations; risks and anything that could impact are taken into the account. A super El Nino is expected to start before the end of the year causing havoc with the weather; drought, flood and so on. The markets have already done the calculations of price; inflation but they have not taken into account that all creation belongs to God and no matter how creation groans the Lord will provide for the faithful.

Be encouraged today to know that all creation groans together and the Lord knows.
