Pray groans
Romans 8:26: And likewise the Spirit also joins in to help our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray as we ought, but the Spirit Himself intercedes on our behalf with groans that cannot be uttered.
The situation that we all face brings us to that place that in our weakness we do not know what to do and what to pray. There are times when we feel helpless and it is in those times that we turn to the Holy Spirit our Helper. What we sometimes hope for is drawn from what we want in our weaknesses and it is then that the Holy Spirit guides our prayers.
We may pray for a loved one to be healed and in our weakness we want them to get up as if nothing had happened to them. Sometimes like with all things our prayers are answered in ways that may not be what we expected. It is in the answer to the prayers that we realise that our prayers; just sometimes a garbled groan is presented by the Holy Spirit to our Heavenly Father who knows and understands all.
Be encouraged today to know that even when we know not what to pray; the Holy Spirit does.

Point to ponder: Pray even if it’s only a groan.
Question to consider: Have you groaned to God because you had no words?
